AGM and Perpetual Award Presentation

Our AGM will be held at East Malvern RSL, Stanley Grose Drive, Malvern East VIC 3145 at 4:00pm on 27th May 2018.
A BBQ run by the RSL is taking place after the AGM. Please feel free to stay with your family.
This evening will also include the presentation of our 2017 Perpetual Award recipients.
Please consider joining the committee. The more assistance the committee has, the less work and time is required by all involved.

Perpetual Award Nominations

Every year the committee decides on the recipients of four perpetual awards. We are now calling for nominations for the Ian Curwood Award and the Carmel Grossek Award. A brief criteria is below. Please email you nomination to the committee.

Ian Curwood Award (established 2009): Awarded to a senior player whose extended service has gone above and beyond in their commitment to the club.
Carmel Grossek Award (established 1991): Presented to a member who has made a significant contribution to the ongoing success of the club.

Special Resolution to change our Rules of Association

Notice of Special Resolution to amend St Michael’s Ashburton Netball Club’s Rules of Association

A Special Resolution will be voted on at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on May 29th 2016 at East Malvern RSL.

Rules of Association set out the purpose, rules and how an association of members can function. Without them, we cannot be a Netball Club. The rules are a requirement of the Associations Incorporated Reform Act 2012. Since 2012 we have been operating under the model rules set out by Consumer Affairs Victoria. While these are sufficient to run our club, changes needed to be made to be more applicable to a community Netball Club.

Saturday Netball BBQ

sausages with logoWe will be running the netball BBQ on May 28th 2016, 8am-2pm,and we need your help! Please select your preferred time to be a BBQ helper! This is a great event and a great fundraiser for the club, helping to keep our costs low. Please help out if you can. It’s always a fun event!

We need up to 4 helpers per hour, and you are more than welcome to help out for more than one time slot!
